So my B3 q6600 arrived today.
Popped it in...set vcore to 1.475, multi to 8x, FSB to 452...it passed 30 min of Prime95...although things are a bit toasty. it goes to 1.49 under load (vdroop pencil mod) and is about 72-74c.
As you can see, these are a bit high for idle temps...but I'm going to be picking up another 120.2 rad and either a Dtek fuzion or EK supreme so that should bring temps down a bit...and I'm going to see if I can bring down the voltage a bit too and do some further stress testing with folding.
Anyway I'm very pleased as it's an excellent clocker for a roasty B3 stepping,
and I spent literally 2 min getting the first 3.6ghz settings right, just like my other e6600. With some new WC stuff maybe temps will be good enough to see if it can do even more.
