Default y splitter 2 fans?

will it be bad to use a y splitter to run two fans from the mobo header?

I will Have a big typhoon and 2 of theese:

Panaflo # Model: FBA08A12H
# Input power = 2.08 watts
# Air Flow = 39 CFM (cubic feet per minute)
# Noise = 32 db
# Plastic blades and Frame
# Hydro Wave Bearing

and one of theese:

Delta SB0812HH Sleeve 2.40w 37.43cfm 34.0db

I will be missing one connector from my mobo, so i wanted to use a splitter, does it look bad?

I dont think that is a good idea, from what i see, most headers cant handle a load greater then 300 milliamps now that is at 12v. so that panaflow is at 208 milliamps if you piggy back that with that other fan that will take up the load to 448 milliamps which is bad for the controller and may blow it out, now you can take 2 lesser fans and do that like 2 vantec stealth fans, they only draw 100 milliamps or 1.2 watts.

Of course you could, but you have to have the adapter, or you have to solder wires together.
