x6800 acting like it is locked

Just updated to the 1707 bios drivers on this board. Now when i go to change the multiplier from the stock 11 to whatever,, it goes right back to 11 immediately in the menu. It says its status is Unlocked: Max-11 Min-6

I have c1 and EIST disabled

I tried using the windows asusupdate to revert the bios,, but it told me that in order to revert it, i need to use the dos utility.

So i used the dos utility.

I went to revert to the previous driver, 1701.. and it says it cant because it is too old. so i am screwed for now

turns out that its an actual bios issue, not me. Happend when they tried making the bios vista compatible.. went back to 1407 bios, works fine
