hey, I'm probably going to be getting one of these two cards later this week. I was just wondering if anyone would be able to tell me if the x1900GT rev.2 has unlockable pipelines and stuff.
This website (I was comparing the two cards...) said that it does (it's at the bottom, the unlockable numbers are in ()'s )
Video Card Comparison - GPUReview.com
with that said, here are the two cards:
Newegg.com - SAPPHIRE 100189 Radeon X1900GT 256MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 CrossFire Supported Video Card - OEM
Newegg.com - SAPPHIRE 100200L Radeon X1950GT 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 HDCP Ready CrossFire Supported Video Card - Retail
The x1950GT has 512mb of ram compared to 256mb that the x1900GT rev.2 has.
Which card should I get (I definitely will be getting the x1900GT rev.2 if it has all that unlockable stuff).
I will also be putting AS5, heatsinks for RAM, V700/V900 on and OCing the crap out of whichever card I get. My case cooling is very good so I shouldn't be too limited.
