Default worth OCing gfx?

how many ppl notice a difference in performance when OCing a gfx card in games.

Im playing with the speeds on my 9800pro and only noticing an average of +6 fps or so and wonder if its worth it to run at higher temps.

I think OCing a graphics card is definitely worth it - in some cases it may be the difference between playability and not, or the difference between being able to add one more layer of antialiasing, etc.
