Default A word of warning to all case modders.

I sit in front of my PC typing with one hand to give a warning to all case modders.

SECURE YOUR WORKPIECE BEFORE ANY CUTTING!

The side panel I was working on just slipped due to a cheap G cramp giving way and I have a badly lacerated thumb with a few quite deep cuts from a 120mm hole saw.

You have been warned.

Its one of the ‘messy’ type of injuries, it is a bit uncomfortable, but not particularly serious, the double ATX case is on hold for a few days though, lol.

...and no, no pic's. its under a bandage now.

man that is terrible. this reminds me of the time when our woodshop instructor accidentally cut off his thumb on a bandsaw.

and i'm not talking about the mini-scroll bandsaws either, this was the massive industrial size saw. he did get his thumb re-attached okay though.

did it cut through the bone? man that is terrible

No, not through the bone, (though I thought it might have been for a second). The hospital gave me a tetanus jab and a few of those paper stitches. Work will resume on the mod tomorrow, (with a better G cramp).
