Question A wired Question because it is better to safe than sorry.

I have a Thermaltake XaserV WinGo V8000A case and I am in the process of wiring the IEEE 1394 firewire connection to a DFI NF4 LANPARTY UT nF4 SLI-DR motherboard. The motherboard manual diagrams the case wires to the 10-pins. This is a simple procedure of inserting the marked pins into the correct IEEE locations. Six of the eight pins are describe, but two pins are not specific in the manual. I connected the VP and VG pin in the next available IEEE location. Are the VP and VG pins that same thing as the 12V (fused). In other words I inserted the VP and VG into the two remaining 12V locations because this seemed correct? One other thing is there a Chassis Alarm connection on the Lanparty? Can’s locate it.
