Default will this work?

ok after reading opinions and reviews from just about everywhere (including this site) i have an idea now. now i need to know will all these specs work with each other and can any of these parts be replaced with something better?

Athlon 64 FX-55

ATI Radeon X800 XT Platinum Edition 256MB

Motherboard ASUS p5ad2-e premium

two 200 GB hard drives 7200rpm 8mb cache configured to RAID 0

1GB PC3200 400Mhz DDR Ram 1024MB

Blade Deluxe Pre-Mod Medium tower with power supply and fan

1.44MB floppy drive Panasonic

is this basically the best computer possible at the moment?

You need to do a bit more reading there but ill help you out first.
Firstly your motherboard wont work with your CPU because your mobo is maid for Intel processors and you choose an AMD processors.
I would suggest you go for one of these Mobos

and one more thing what manufacturer of ram are you getting.
