Yea all those parts are compatable.. but why not go with a SATA hard drive?

Take a look at the system i just ordered (in my sig.)

Same processor, mother board and memory.

but i bet you'll change your mind a few times before you order it...

none of the parts in my pc are the ones i started out with on my wish list.

so get that 10,000 rpm to install just the OS on and maybe some other files ill need quick access to, and use the 120 for storage of other things? what would that do just make the comp quicker overall? i probably wont do that yet maybe for christmas ill get it and reformat everything, also whats the difference between SATA and that IDE i had picked

hah yea. wow your hardware for "on the way" is gonna cost some big bucks, id get the FX-53 but im spending enough money as it is lol. hey what operating system do you use anyway? XP or windows 64-bit

I don't think Windows XP 64-bit version has been released yet has it?

As for AZNRockThis "ON ITS WAY" system, it won't work - FX CPU's require registered memory and he is wanting 'Corsair XMS Extreme Platinum 2x512 MB (1GB) PC3200'.
