will this mess up my GPU?

Will setting the speed 490/1300 for my evga 7800 gtx with acs2 cooling(same as KO edition cooling) set to boot up at those settings mess up my card? the default colcks are 470/1200. the card is the same thing as the KO except with lower clocks.

Try it. If you can't boot windows, reboot in safe mode and reinstall your display drivers. Should be fine though.

mines on 490/1300 with stock..but mines factory overlocked.. but i dont think there would be much diff. Card is idle at 61c

dang! 61??!? mine is idle at 48 at stock. But thats at 460/1200. i think its idle at like 50 with ur clocks.

ive gotten my gt up to 530 and 1250 on stock cooling so i dont think youll have any problems getting where your trying
