will a gtx470 bottleneck me?

I just won an EVGA GTX470 on ebay unopened for $287 shipped to upgrade my 8800gt (not bad huh?). My specs are in my sig (no longer watercooled and overclocked), will I bottleneck the 470 at all with my specs? Thanks always TF!

I personally think your processor would be a bit of a bottle neck, but, it shouldn't hurt any IMO.

Cpu bottleneck? Maayyybbee actually...
But bottlenecking is overrated anyway.

So you think I should be alright then? Man... A year ago I Never Thought my e8400 would be bottlenecking me haha. I got a good deal on the card.. <3 eBay lol

It depends entirely on the game and your resolution.

However, even in the worst cases bottlenecking won't be a huge issue on your rig.

I dual monitor, 1360x768 and 1440x900 resolutions (not that high at all). Game I'm playing mostly now is bad company 2, next game will probably be crysis 2, bad company: Vietnam, and final fantasy 14
