Default Whats normal temp for p4?

anyone know what normal temp pentium 4 2.8gHZ Northwood A should run at?

That's the same CPU my wife has in her system. With stock Intel heat sink/fan it runs idle around 95 degrees fahrenheit, 35 celcius.

oh thats alright mine runs at about 40C idle on a hot day but normally at 32C idle and when i run full on programs, about 10 it goes up to 55C? is that a stable enough temperature? cause i never knew it went that high

yea thats fine. those ones i think are rated to 75 or 80 c before they fry but don't let them go above 60 i would say
