Default What's the next step in graphics cards?

Which pci-e card on the market would be above the 6800 GS/GT but below the 7800GT (excluding 6800 Ultra because that's ridiculously expensive)?

Im dissapionted with the thought of a 7800GS...i say bring the 7800gt prices down and bring out the 8000's series. The graphics of todays games are getting too good.

I thought the 7800GS was more like the 6600, in terms of quality. Maybe I'm thinking of the 7300 or w/e...

Send a message via AIM to PZEROFGH

Theres is nothing between the 6800GT/GS and 7800GT because thats all they made

6800GS, 6800GT, 6800ultra, 7800GT, 7800GTX, 7800GTX 512MB

None of ATI cards are to look at because yuo would be looking at their X8** series which absolutely sucked. Their X1900XT cards are good but 500 dollars looks to pricey in your budget.

For the best card would defintely be the 7800GT at the 300 range, and the X1900XT at the 500 dollar range.

The only thing between the 6800 GS/GT and the 7800GT is the 7800GS which I think is for AGP only though.
