you can't compare clock frequencies on completely different architectures...

yep. you use the P-rating to compare AMD processors with Pentium 4 processors. not the clock speed.

I myself think the ratings are off.. on every other program I bench close to a fx55 but this says 4100.. its a nice program I think its rating is off.. and I think sandra rates me at a 3900+ but when I bench my cpu it beats a fx55 so I think they are @ best very general estimates.


and its an amd rating your clock vs what it thinks it basically is...

an FX-55 performs roughly the same as a 4000+

an FX-53 @ 2.4ghz should = amd 4000+ at 2.4ghz as both have 1mb l2 and the only potencial for differance is the memory controller which may have been updated since the 53 but im not sure.
