Before anything, here is a spec of my computer.
2.6GHZ Intel 4 HT technology
80gb/300gb internal HDs, one external 120gb HD.
1gb dual channel DDR400 ram
BFG 6800GT OC (default 370/1000) AGP slot
I have it overclocked to 400/1050. I experienced some serious artifacts @ 410/1100. It still shows some artifacts at current setting(400/1050), which I don't really care for.
I did a 3DMARK05 test on just today(with overclocked setting, all applications turned off), and here are the results.
3DMark Score: 4947
GT1 - Return To Proxycon: 20.1fps
GT2 - Firefly Forest: 14.3fps
GT3- Canyon Flight: 27.0 fps
CPU Score: 4000
CPU Test 1: 2.3fps
CPU Test 2: 3.1fps
Feature Tests
Fill Rate - Single Texturing: 3598.0 MTexels/s
Fill Rate - Multi-Texturing: 6010.6 MTexels/s
Pixel Shader: 156.8 fps
Vertex Shader - Simple: 49.8 MVertices/s
Vertex Shader - Complex: 37.9 MVertices/s
Batch Size Tests
8 Triangles: 2.3 MTriangles/s
32 Triangles: 7.8 MTriangles/s
128 Triangles: 25.8 MTriangles/s
512 Triangles: 61.7 MTriangles/s
2048 Triangles: 88.2 MTriangles/s
32768 Triangles: 101.9 MTriangles/s
Test Setting: 1024x768, Anti-Aliasing:None, Texture Filtering:Optimal, VS/PS Profile:3_0.
Games Playing:
COD2: I just use "Optimal Setting" that the game recommands. Works flawlessly.
Need for Speed Most Wanted: 1024x768 resolution, I can't max out all the settings because it'll create some lag. I lower the settings by a little, it'll run fine.
F.E.A.R: You know the deal. Nowhere close to max. FPS drops to like 0.1 if I do.
Can anyone tell me what the **** is wrong?
EDIT: Oh yeah, Nvidia Temperature guide always show 62degree. Under heavy load, it rises up to 72degrees. Is this normal? My case is cooled by two brand new fans, case side covers all taken off, graphic card cooler below the 6800GT OC.
