Default What to upgrade

I am thinking up investing money in a new video card (Radeon 9800 pro) to speed up my comp. Is this the best choice or should i upgrade something else?

Specs:
AMD Athlon XP 2400+
Asus A7V8X-X Mobo
Radeon 7000 64mb
Creative SoundBlaster Audigy
768mb DDR 2700 RAM
52X24X52 CD-RW
80GB 7200RPM HD
350Watt Power Supply

And if i do get a video card, should i spend $200 on the ATI Radeon 9800 Pro, or spend 30 bucks less on the Sapphire version?

??? to speed up your computer? getting a new video card is not gonna speed up your computer.

i think you should wait a bit more. once the x800 is out for a while, the prices will drop and you will be able to upgrade and save some money.

by the end of the summer the 9800 pro should be like 30 bucks less hopefully, maybe a little more... the prices won't drop too much below what they are now for at least a year.

maybe i can wait then... but should i go after the ATI radeon or the Sapphire?

One last question, after i get a new card, will my setup be enough to run the new games like halo and HL2 at a decent speed?

this saphire has 240 reviews, all are good. the cheaper saphire doesn't seem to be very good.

if i had the money, i would get this card by HIS:

make sure that when you buy the card, it says it has a 256 bit bus, cause that is the speed it transfers data, 256 is the best.
