Hardly much more, many think that 1mb cache is twice the heat as 512k but its barly 1/4 more.

V6steve, it all depends how much money you want to spend. Then if you want to OC. Personally for AMD cpu's, your going to want something with 1MB cache. You can always increase your operating frequency, but you cannot gain cach size. The new 4000 San Diego is the best but most expensive choice. This core is only usefull to overclockers.

Counter-Strike, its not about opinion, San Diego's are better.
Finished With TF.

how can u say get a 3200 and oc it to 4000? there is a differance apart from speed. Chach...

If 3800 would be fast enough then get a 3200 and oc it cos you will get 2.4ghz at a min i would expect. if u need the performance of a 4000+ then get one and oc it to FX-55 speeds or faster

AMD 64 939 3200+@2.7ghz
Segate 120gig SATA
1gig PC3200 Geil Value Ram Duel Channel@ddr480 3-3-3-8
Gigabyte 6600GT-PCI-E@580/1.3
