Default What if.....

What if you had 10,000 dollars to spend on a computer and its components. and no u cant pay 2000 on it and keep the rest for something else

describe the computer and what parts it has

lol this has been described before, search for it and u will find. but depending on what u want it for changed wat u buy

for gaming would be

amd fx 55
2 gig gskill oc 4400
2 6800 ultras
4 raptors
4 400gig seagates
DFI ultra sli moboard
big psu tfts etc etc

AMD x2 5000+ black edition at 3.3GHZ zalman cnps 9700-NT
Gigabyte GA-M57SLI-S4 motherboard
3072mb: OCZ ddr800 gold
2x 7800GTX in SLI for 20" viewsonic
OCZ 600watt power supply

CPU- Athlon 64 FX-55
Mobo- DFI ultra SLI
RAM- 2 GB gskill PC4000 RAM (or 1 GB if gonna overclock, don't feel like explaining why)
Video Card- 2 Nvidia 6800 Ultra EE (extreme edition)
Sound Card- Sound Blaster Audigy 4
Power Supply- Antec 600 watt power supply
Case- NZXT Nemesis Elite ATX (so sick looking)
HDD- 2 x 74 GB Western Digital Raptor (10000 RPM)
2 x 400 GB Seagate SATA 7200 RPM
Cooling- Water Cooling + Air Filter + 2 x 120 mm fans = 2 80 mm fans

If i HAD to spend 10,000 then I would get a quad setup with the Thunder board. 4gig at least of OCZ plat. Dual ultras for for powerpoint displays.

But for just a expensive system for ME it would be.
Dual ultras 512mb
4Gig OCZ gold
Audigy 2zs platnum pro
600w OCZ psu
Lian Li Full tower
2x74 raptors RAID
2 x 1TB harddrives
Sony Dual layer
24INCH samsung widescreen.
56k modem(cunnts still havent send my adsl codecs )

Its probly over budget but MEH

woah i just lowered my motherboards temp. 4 degrees by moving one wire

i didnt think one wire would affect it that much
it went from 86 to 82 degrees celcius

Too bad their's no fx-57, nor terabyte hard drves, and windows doesnt like more than 2 gig of ram

Build a gaming computer, and have it act like a sever to, big Raid 5 array, lots of extra HDD's and a cd drive or two. Along with dual AMD cpu's.
