What BIOS CPU settings to disable for maximum speed before overclocking?

When I used to overclock I remember having to disable quite a few CPU features in the BIOS. Does anyone know which ones I should disable or leave enable on my i5 2500k?? Thanks everyone!

I don't remember exactly, and I am rusty on BIOS knowledge.

and there may be some others, just google around for overclocking guides. They are pretty numerous.

What motherboard you got?

Unless your doing some extreme overclocking (5GHz+) there's really no reason to disable any features.

Sorry my sig is outdated, I have the asrock extreme 3 gen 3 z68, 8gb ripsaws x, and the i5 2500k, and the thermaltake frio cooler. Doesn't the throttling slow things down? Or no?
