as i just got water cooling today i decided to overclock my cpu (e6300) more, (i now have it at 2.4ghz @1.28v) but the weird thing is it now idles around 37c but its load temp is only 40c. is this unusual or could this just be the heated water keeping the cpu hotter when its not under load?
one more thing that could be wrong, do you think i could have broken the temp reader thingie on the cpu? because in the bios when i first turn the computer on for the day the cpu temp reads 2c or 3c while coretemp reads 21c
ps anyone know of a good program for reading the motherboard temps on a gigabyte 965p dq6 i cant find one.
