On CPU-Z it says my Intel Core 2 Duo is 2.6 GHz but I actually over clocked my E6750 to 3.2 GHz but why it's reading the stock speed on the program? On BIOS it is 3.2 GHz 400MHz 8x Multiplier but on CPU-Z and Everest is says 2.6 GHz. It reads the voltage correctly and ram timing and ratio correctly. Is this something I need to worry about?

is there some intel equivalent to amd cool n quiet becuase if there is then this is probarbly whats making your processor show up as 2.6GHz instead of 3.2Ghz

EDIT: is it called intel speed step technology?
