Right, i just went to ebuyer to order some Corsair Dominator 1066Mhz DDR2 to OC my E6850.

But first, i just tried it with a stock cooler and crappy generic 667mhz ram.

I set the multiplier from 7 to 9, and left the CPU clock at 400. Now by my calculations thats 3.6Ghz.

I fire up CPU-Z and it says the Core clock is 2400mhz with the multiplier at 6x  However everest does indeed say 3599Mhz but the CPU multiplier switches every second from 7 to 11.5x and CPU FSP from 300 to 500.

Can someone tell me what i am to beleive and what's going on ?

also, opening up speedfan gives these temp reading (baddd :p)

Core 0 = 50c
Core 1 = 49C
Core = 66C (or is this GPU ?) well sod gpu fans, a normal home fan on this has lowered it to 55.

Which one should i be looking at ?
