ok, well for all of you who read my last thread, it is indeed a cooling problem with my Mobo. No, i have NO idea why i cut my heatsink apart, yes i am a dumbass, no, you dont need to remind me. but, anyways, abck to the problem at hand.
I definately need a new heatsink, but the really weird thing is, the sinkt hat came with my CPU ( i was using the sink that came with my barebone PC) doesnt fit it. After looking around a bit, im 95% sure that it is a heatsink bracket for a Intel P4 Socket 476. It looks exactly like it.
So my questions are these.
1). If anyone has a spare socket 476 mobo lying around, cud u give me the length/width of the heatsink bracket, so I know its the right one. *edit* I googled it too, and cant find it.
2.) COuld someone recomend a good heatsink for Socket 476, i plan on doing some light overclocking.
