Watercooling Decision

I'd take option B with the custom picked configuration, the zalman above is an absolute crap passive cooling solution, most air solutions would outperform it.

BTW you still need a Fillport or reservoir.

I''ve noticed a huge increase lately in people interested in water cooling and more heavy cooling systems... It's pretty cool.

Listen to Gaara, do not get a kit. Especially one that costs that much! With $290, you could build youself one hell of a water cooling system, and get temps far lower than that Zalman would ever get you!

Few things about your choice of parts: The tubing first... You realize that it is $2 a foot, right? If you go to home depot, you can get some clear tubing (sorry it's not UV reactive) for $.50 a foot. The Swiftech has a little bit of a heat dump to it, so I would shy from that. Check out www.cooltechnica.com and www.dangerden.com, both of those sites have some rather killer prices.
