want new ram!

I want sum new ram for my comp but dont know wat kind 2 get and brand. my comp is prty slow and i wanna start 2 play new games on it. my comp......... amd athlon(tm) xp 1700+ 1.47ghz, 256 mb of ram and a 256 graphics card. so ive come across this

your cpu is starting 2 date...and mite strugle to play the newer games...so think about upgrading that 1st then get at least 1024mb ram and you'll be set

what video card do you have by the way ??

i cant remember how do i find out cuz i tink i use 2 know and wats best 2 upgrade?

in RUN type DXDIAG then go to display
or you could right click destop and go properties...
