Default Videocard temps..

I don't really know ATi cards very well yet, so what are the usual safe max temps?

My x800 GTO maxxed out at 88*C today. Is that too high? It's around 50 - 54*C at idle usually. I'm going to get a Zalman cooler soon, but are those temps alright for now or should I really strive to get that cooler?

Its fine. Video cards can take temperatures up to 120C in most cases.
