I have an Ati Radeon 9800 Pro (128MB), build by Ati, and I wanted to overclock it to XT speeds, I have a few questions though
. I asked this question before, and I got mixed results. What is the best cooler for the price of a Zalman FV-700 and under for my Radeon 9800 Pro, and which one is better the VGA silencer series, or the Zalman (post links of comparisons if you can), and also, what are the benefits of flashing the bios to an XT version? Is it true that I will be able to read the temperatures on the card (because currently I cannot), and lastly, what are the dangers of flashing the bios to XT version?
One more thing, I understand that if I raise the CPU FSB too much, the AGP and PCI is raised too, and this is not good as far as I understand, my motherboard doesn't isolate the FSB as far as I know, so if I overclock the video card, would the PCI and CPU go up too? Like a reverse effect?
I know this is a lot of questions, but any help would be appreciated.
