So the motherboard light comes on but none the fans work?? If the fans do work when the mobo light comes on then try letting it set for 10 min, i had this problem, turned out to be a dead battery that needed charged up a little....

I guess he never specifically said but I assumed it was a relatively new motherboard. Those batteries take a loooooooooong *** time to die though.

I'm sure during all his troubleshooting though charles it's sat there for more than 10 mins at a time not to mention when he goes to sleep lol

I've never heard of 'charging the battery' this isn't a car we're talking about where if you jump it, the car will charge that battery.

Generally those batteries die and bam that's all there is to it.
