Greetings,
I have OC'd my CPU in the BIOS (2.4GHz) and adjusted the voltage. Now I can not lower the vcore rating. It is at 1.44 volts. I attempted to lower it to 1.3_ (various settings) but when I re-boot CPU-Z, PC Probe and a host of other utilities states that it is still at 1.44. When I return to the BIOS the option that I lowered it to is shown. In addition, the Vcore fluctuates (displayed in CPUz by 1/100 to 2/100 of a volt)....? Normal?
Could this have something to do with an "auto voltage" setting. My system is stable (Prime95 for 14 hrs) and the temps are acceptable.
Does anyone think that this voltage is too high, any recommendations on how to lower the vcore?
Also, when I return to stock clock speed the vcore does lower to 1.35 colts.....
Thanks for looking.
