I ws thinking of getting

thermaltake a1715 spark 7+ xaser edition , socket 478 ,2 ball bearing, 1300/6000rpm with temp. sensor, 17/43dba, opti-fin all copper ; with front ( 5.25" ) and back panel speed control
and--
thermaltake a2068 UV round cable, ata133, 48cm, 3 connectors+ pull tag, tinned copper mesh shielding, minimized EMI- UV bLue
do you need a special uv light or something for these uv light products.

yes these are uv sensitive cables, you can either get a uv ccfl or a uv led to get the uv paint to react and look neon green/blue/orange whatever.

Does a cold cathode light activate UV, or are there seperate UV lights out there for it?

we got a regular ccfl here http://www.xoxide.com/coldcathodes.html
and a uv ccfl here http://www.xoxide.com/colcatblac.html
the uv ccfl activates uv sensitive material a regular ccfl doesn't
