Alright it is time I upgrade once again as this is the rig I built last year when it came around to that beloved time that we all enjoy & our wallets do not. I swear by AMD & I currently am thinking around 400-600 dollars for use.

Current Setup:

ASUS M2N-SLI & AMD 64 X2 4600+ (overclocked @ 2.6ghz)
BFG 7950 GTX OC
4 GB OCZ Platinum DDR2 800

More than likely I will just turn this rig into something to toy around with or just a media server. What do you guys think I should buy within my price range, all I ask is AMD.

The most logical upgrade would be with a Quad Core. With a decent 4850 or a 9800 GTX+ since you have an SLI board. Also what kind of PSU do you currently have?

OMG Vernong, DESTROYER!!!! +1

that destroyer looks nice... using the 780a!! heyooo, i used to own me that chipset back on the asus L1N64WS SLi... what a board that was... and oh how the fx70's could SUCK IT.... lol spaceheaters

Do you want to stay with AMD? If you don't care then you can pick up an Intel rig for a good price, and it will smash the AMD chips. If not then get the AMD quads.
