Unlocking Multiplier

i have a AXP 2200+ Thouroughbred, and i want to unlcok the multiplier, i can do this by connecting some of the L5 bridges. (and yes i know of the risks) Now i can connect

i want to make it into a "mobile, dual" athlon which unlocks the multiplier.

now, i know i can unlock it with pencil but do i just draw a line between then or do i need to do something else like scrape something away from the bridges
