Default Unlocking GPU Pipelines

Using Riva Tuner, I am able to unlock more pipelines. 12 are checkmarked and I believe the 6800 can go up to 16, but which others do I unlock? there are 31 total Pipes. Does anyone have any idea or experience in this matter?

EDIT

I just read that the core on the PCI-E cards are different than the ones in the AGP cards, and there is only 12 pipelines on the card, and nothing locked.
