uNderclocking

Ok I finished my case for quakecon. I was testing it out and idlemy temps are high 40s low 50s. Playing cod4 they almost hit 60. This is on a q6600. I don't have the Time to start redoing stuff. So are these temps ok for a 4 day LAN? Or should I underclock for better temps? And if so what do you reccomend?

Sure they're not ideal, but okay... you could also disable a core if you don't need the full power

It only takes a few seconds to blow the dust bunnies out. And if you can find a few minutes a tack cloth will make quick work of any dust still sticking to your fans. You can pick one up for about $1 at any hardware or auto parts store.

Stock, which if I remember right is 1.325. Artic freezer pro hs(If I remeber right, it's been a while

It's your case isdn't it thats heating you up?

How was your temps before you put it into the quakecon one?

That is really odd for that to be running THAT warm just at stock clocks.. I'm going to go with the CPU Paste idea..

Temps were better in my real case. Quakecon early line is tommorow so I don't have time. So pretty much it's underclock or nothing
