tweak the bios

so my friend set my bios for me when we built this machine back in 2004.

and i havent changed a thing in there since. anyway i bought some RAM that doesnt work great and a forum member suggested i update my bios. so i thought i';d give it a try, anyway...

i updated it, it all works and stuff. but i had to set all of the bios options on their default settings. and now my PC boots incredibley slower than it used too.

any tricks you guys know?

also: cant find my RAM voltage settings, at least i cant see them and ive looked all over

look at the hd based settings for your specific bios...should be bios info breakdown for it on the brand's website...if it's a good company
