I recently became "inspired" to oc my Intel E6300 Conroe @ 1.86Ghz...i read up on how to do this and uped the FSB to 412.

Bad idea. Failed to POST, and i was back to where I was before, stock. So I, decided to take it slower, upped it to 300. Worked fine at 2.11Ghz. Now, that is not good enough for me so i wanted to take it further, but i read that you have to do "something" with the RAM in order to do this...what is that "something?"

SYSTEM SPECS:

DFI Infinity 975X/G mobo
Intel E6300 @ 1.86Ghz (now running stable at 2.11Ghz...knock on wood)
Corsair TWIN2X2048-6400 memory
Seagate 250 GB 7200.10 HDD
Zalman CNP9500 LED CPU cooler
