Hey guys
I'm picking up my new computer tomorrow and I'm wondering if there is anything you guys suggest i do to make it run better.
Here it is...

i7 920
Asus P6T (standard)
GTX 295
Antec 1200
Coolermaster V8
1000w Antec Power supply
Corsair TR3X6G1600C9 6GB
OCZ XTC Ram Cooler
64-bit Vista Home premium

Any tweaks, software & advice is much appreciated.

P.S Has anyone got a good Core i7 OC guide for noobs?

well run memtest, prime 95 it, check temps, route cables, add fans, use a good thermal grease.
Then maybe tighten ram timings or raise mhz (I like loose timings better). I always like to give my graphiss card a 5% overclock right off the bat. Programs that I like, core temp, evga precision, prime 95, everst can be fun, o and do a SUPER PI run.

do some os tweaks, some reg edits. Install all your customizing apps, stuff like that.

As soon as a have built a new system, i right off the bat do my reg edits, they are the most important, i have become to acustomed to them.

^just a few little tweaks, scroll bar sizes, menu delays, ect. You could probably do some google search's and find some cool stuff to do.

Start by making sure everything is running well, benchmark, run Memtest86, run ATITool and scan for Artifacts... run Intel's Burn test at Max... throw some games in there to see loading times, FPS, overheating GPU/CPU/ Instablity

NOW START OVERCLOCKING!! and re-do above..

Finally end by tweaking Windows to look to your liking, do some registry tweaks and performance tweaks, etc

Start -> Search Bar -> msconfig -> services -> disable superfetch and windows search

Control panel (classic view) -> user accounts -> turn user account control off

Control panel (classic view) -> security center -> change the way security center alerts me -> don't notify me and don't display the icon

control panel (classic view) -> windows update -> change settings -> check for updates

Those are a few things I do to every machine on first boot.
