ok i used the AMD gpu tool to overclock the card, just went balls out for a 3dmark run.
the memory starts artifacting relatively low (< 1000), but that is a common issue with the 1gb cards.
core i got to 865 just to see if it would run and DANG....it benches 3dmark almost as good as the stock gtx280 i had awhile back (~17K). core 865, memory stock 900.
holy crap.
and i dont think that is all the core will do. i bet it will go 900+.

i got right at 17K with my cpu @ 3.6 and my ram at 1081. dude 2 4850's are gonna kill. i kinda wish i had gotten them, but i guess i can just buy another 4870 lol.
