Question Thermaltake GIANT III VGA COOLER

Does any one know if I can control and monitor the fan speed on the Thermaltake GIANT III VGA DUEL HEATPIPE VGA COOLER via a ThermaltakeHARDCONO 12.

Otherwise, what sort of power connection does Thermaltake GIANT III VGA DUEL HEATPIPE VGA COOLER for the fan. It's it the same plug is on the CPU HEAT SINKS?

you can controll the speed by running the fan through a transistor switch with a potentiometer at the base foltage offset. you need to make sure that the transistor can handle the fans current draw, i have had no problem with running a 0.8a fan through a 2n3904.
but in order to monitor speed you need a fan with an RPM sensor in it, and a controller for the sensor.
