Default Temps (athlon xp)

just out of interest, post your lowest, average and highest cpu temps, just to compare to mine and see if i have done well without resorting to water cooling
(amd athon xp preferable)

BTW my lowest is 29
my average is 32
and it usually doesnt get higher than 34-35

i have a AXP 2200+ OC to 2ghz

Core 2 Duo E6400, DFI Infinity 975X/G, 2x 512mb DDR2 667mhz, Albatron 7900gt, WD 200gb SATA, Samsung DVD-RW, Silverstone ST-50EF 500w PSU.

Those are very good temperatures on air, I have an Athlon XP 3200+ Barton on water cooling, running at 11*218 for 2398 MHz and 1.75Vcore. Idle temp is 30/31, full load temp, (using Toast), is 33/34. Ambient room temperature is 21 degrees.

Temps shown above are CPU diode temps, the sensor ‘thermal epoxied’ on the back of the core is generally within a degree or so though.
