Temperature woes.

When I moved my unit into the same type situation, this is the basics of what I did.

I reworked the front of the desk door, to let in air freely at the bottom
Then I cut out the back appropriately for a four inch fan in the upper part
I then carpeted the interior for sound dampening.

Runs rather quiet, and cool.

Mirage,,,

mmmm...maybe I did,,LOL,,, I skimmed over all the postings fast yesterday,, trying to do some quick reading between work,,,

sorry,, not directed at you,, just general comments,,,

cheers,

a good thing to consider when you are goin to instal the fans is the fan's mounting holes positions.the best way is to arrange the fans in one way that the flow will be unidirectional as cras abott sugested. then by this you select where yo want the flow go, front to back or back to front. depending on the temperature of the room you determine how many fans are going to blow in or out. my ratio is 2:2 and i never have had a heat issue:)
