Tempature Sensors

When you install and place the tempature sensors for a Fan Controller, is the CPU sensor suposed to sit inbetween the fan and the chip? Same for the Hard Drive, do you just attach the sensor to the top? And where is a good place to put the case sensor, the one that gives you the temp inside your case?

You just have to put it on a part of that component. Say for the CPU, try to put it as close to the CPU as you can get it, for the HD, just on the top of it something.

i beleive u can only hook the cpu to the motherboard or the computer wont boot
