the highest i can seem to go is 223mhz. what can i do to get higher cpu clock at that memory clock?

first get ur new mobo then try it. if u cant get it higher try a mem divider and then get that toledo/manchester up there

if i were you i would get that mobo. alot of people around here only get 3 brands of mobo's which consist of DFI, ASUS, and MSI which is why whenever someone asks what mobo to get those three are probably the only ones that come up.
that epox is extremely stable like very very stable, good oc'ing options

I have that first RAM you listed, I can go up to 280 with stock timings no problem. Its decent RAM.
