The game is not overly cpu intensive, its just that youre at a low clock speed.
my CPU is 3.3GHz, trying to get to 3.4GHz. I got a lot of homework to do this week so maybe ill try again on the weekend.

^ I think that just goes to show that Crysis is not cpu bound. Even with a craptastic cpu, Philbar can get good frames because of his video card.

if he had a better cpu his score would be higher then mine, so yes it is cpu bound, just a litle tho.

Still he got pretty close to you score considering the massive cpu advantage you have.

It is cpu bound because i got a higher score with a lesser card.

And my cpu is only @ 3ghz, although its stronger than pentium d clock for clock.

Everything is stronger than a pentium D clock for clock.

My point is, Crysis relies much more on your video card than your cpu. Lets put things into perspective, 30fps, isn't that far from 35, 38 or 40 fps. When you compare someone who has an overclocked Q6600 and the guy with the pentium D gets within 10 fps of him, that says a lot.
