it will be fine, it's a prescott. i have seen these things get up in the high 70's and 80's. the thermal throttling makes it rather hard to fry a prescott once it's running although it can happen when you power it on. but i agree, you certainly do not want to run it at that temperature longer than you have to.

Sorry this may to be small, if it is, I'll correct it.

Motherboard - 41 celcius

CPU - 46 celcius

HDD 37 celcius

It's a hot summer morning and we don't have AC

CPU runs at 30 idle and 46 full load (3800+ X2)
GPU runs at 40 idle and 65 full load
Mobo runs at 30 plain and simple
HDD gets to about 30-33 at any given time depending on temp outside.

And I cannot wait to see temps in the middle of winter.

Also contemplating adding in a rear 120 mm fan and a front 80 mm fan, back is intake and front will be outtake, anyone got any good sites for QUIET fans that run fast that will run them as i need them?
