Default Sweet Memory/Power Sinks for the 8800gt

Petra's Tech Shop

Some pretty sweet new heatsinks for the 8800gt/ g92 gts made by a forum member on xs.

Apparently he's having a machine shop with a professional cnc churn them out after the first dozen or so he made himself were snatched up in no time.

There is also going to be a version in black which I will most likely be picking up to complement my 8800gt as soon as it gets back from rma.

Thoughts?

I might consider paying that much if they were all copper.

so, why not just get heatsinks for each ram piece?
Cheaper, and actually more efficient

A local retailer is selling those custom ones over here too....

..but honestly the best for the money are the Thermaltake copper ones. They are dirt cheap and perform great.

Newegg.com - Thermaltake CL-C0025 RAM Heatsink - Retail

I dont think newegg stocks them anymore. They've been out of stock for quite some time.

And the nice thing about the custom ones is the fact that the second peice cools the voltage regulator components which are too small for a normal ramsink

i'd rather have that than the individual ram sinks....too many people have had problems with those things falling off and such...better to have a solid quality piece.
