not bad for spending less than $500 total on this system.

wow, my socket A computer was cheaper and still beats you. 38secs @ 2.6GHz super_pi non modded version.

unfortunately i only have a screenie of 2.5GHz @ 40secs, which still is faster. you might looks into tweaking/overclocking.



althouhg i have a screenie of 260*10, jsut not super_pi score. it was 38secs.

My motherboard doesn't like overclocking. I don't really see much of a need either, I can play all the latest games fine.

Of course yours has a higher score...it's 1ghz faster, did you expect it to be slower?

being that my computer is a few years old, is on a s462 board, and does not have an onboard-memory controlller...i would expect it to be somewhat slower (although 1GHz is a big gap).

i'll have to see what i run stock though, as it's still got a 400MHz advantage at stock settings.
