I am stuck at 2.5ghz on stock voltage right now with my x2 3800. But my temps are a little high to step up the voltage. Either my thermal paste hasn't set or it needs to be re-done.

XP Pro | Vista Home Premium | Linux Ubuntu 7.10
s939 X2 3800 Toledo @ 2.6ghz | evga 7900gs | 320gig + 80gig wd | 1gb Ram | Abit KN8 SLI
3.1ghz achieved.

if you increase the voltage by that much, you usually need to increase the HTT voltage too.
Otherwise, you can get too much voltage difference between the CPU core and HTT bus, and might kill the memory controller - at least that's what I've heard.
