Yes, Stick with the 5xx series. The 32-bit intels will outperform the 64-bit Athlons. But if for some reason you want a 64-bit CPU get an AMD. Get an Intel 540 J Cpu (3.2ghz)

EM stands for "extended memory." Not emulated.
Read this. Intel basically copied AMD's design. If you want to Flame Intel for that fine. But don't just make shit up and give people the wrong information.
And BTW, the word is that Microsoft basically made Intel copy AMD's design so there would be a universal platform to write their 64-bit OS.
