Default Stepping

i understand that the stepping on the cpu dictates how good it will be at OCing, so what does good stepping look like, im thinkin about a 4400 or a 170/175

A stepping doesn't necessarily dictate what kind of overclock your going to get, it just gives you a better general. Sometimes it can mean crap all. As for which stepping, I'm not to sure, I was able to google the best stepping for my CPU and mines a beast of an overclocker.
